glossy

Just a amature looking to gain more knowledge here, I've picked up as much glossy mags as I could find, so far I enjoy ME the best, but it seems like they are all actually advertisments for product. Or reviews of products that are basically the SAME as last year or just slightly new, I mean, most of us HAVE our systems I dont care about this years new components. Teach me how to properly fiberglass a pod, or set imaging or a Audio Control EQ correctly and I would be happy. Is there a mag out there that is for the "Industry Installers" and shops, one that shows construction of the car rather than 20 bitchin shots of it all done and a rambling on about what is in it (I can see that). Something that shows new advancements in the build-ups? Something that takes a diffrent installer each month and shows what they are going through or how-to's?

There used to be an mag that had oversized pages and was actually billed as by installers for installers and I remember guys like fishman writing articles for it all the time but I havent seen it for a while. I wish I could find another mag like that because I couldnt agree with you more. While I still like to read reviews about everthing new so I am up to date I really would like to find something with some more substance to it.
