output line into convertor ?

keeping factory radio , i will be using the front right & left speaker output lines into a converter but the question is can i leave the front speaker connected while using the convertor to feed the amp rca input for subs

 first option

can i disconnect the factory sub and connect speakers to there

0r do i need to install a sub amp to feed these speaker

dont have much room to install another amp

Yes, you can leave the speaker connected.  If your using a LOC, you will need to use the speaker output wires from the deck for any add on amplifier.

 one more  question would you or anybody know the watts and ohms on factory amp on a 2004 expy there is a 8" sub and i want to disconnect it maybe use it in the future or just connect  a4ohm 12" woofer

Any afermarket subwoofer will not perform properly with an OEM amplifier, just not enough juice from those things. The ohm ratings on the speakers are 4 ohms for Ford's.

velocity's right again. im surprised to hear that the fords amp pushes at four ohms. usually they lower the impedance of the speakers to get the most out of those measly amps. i cant stand premium sound systems. i always bypass the whole thing.
