Okay I had two 10w6v2 subs on my Directed 1500d amp. One of the subs is off for warranty repair and while I wait I'm going to make a small box for my other 10w6v2. If I set the sub for 8 ohms and hook it to the amp would it work? Can the amp run at 8 ohms? It pushes 400w at 4ohm so would it push 200w at 8ohm?

Thanks :)

Yes it would push 200 at 8 ohms. You won't be able to push the sub to its full extent, but it will still sound good. Make sure to set the gain right so that the amp dosn't go into clipping, that way you won't have to send in this sub for repair also.
