PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YOU CUT THE HARNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your car has the new GM data retention system, you have to keep your factory radio connected to the factory harness.  You must buy a relocation wire harness so you can relocate you factory radio to the trunk and still keep it plugged in, and on that wire harness it has another set of outputs for your aftermarket radio.  You still need to go under your dash and locate a switced 12v wire.   Orange in your steering column will be what you are looking for, its a 12 awg sized wire.

Your warranty is null and void if you cut the harness, the data retention system is a mandatory part to keep your car running safely.

Run some 16 gauge cable to your fuse box, and look for a switched 12 volt source.
