hey im kinda new to the whole car audio and am trying to learn.  I was hoping if someone could give me some pointers on how to put in rear speakers, sub and amp.  The cars a hatchback, so it has no trunk, so would i have to mount the sub and amp overtop of the spare or is there somethin else I can do?  Also, for the rear speakers, theres not really anywhere to accomodate them, so will i have to build a shelf for them or put them in a box or what??  any help would be appreciated.  thanks

Mik

Look at the possibility of going with front speakers, amp and sub.  A popular choice, and something for a well-rounded front musical stage, would be a 6.5 components for the front.  And one 12" or two 10" subs in a sealed enclosure for the hatch.  You can look through these threads over just the past few days and find a lot of suggestions on both.

The reason I don't suggest rear speakers is, the sound will be behind you.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
