Does any one know when you build a ported enclosure weather or not you need yo subtract the volume of air in the port to get your enclosure volume or if the volume of air in the port is considered to be a part of the volume of the enclosure.      Thanks   Ryan U.

So true, and a good question to ask.  This statement  "2.02 - Check that volume!  Make sure that you add the volume displaced by the driver, ports and bracing to arrive at a final enclosure volume." is from https://www.diysubwoofers.org/faq.htm

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
