Im doing an install on a 2005 Aveo tomorrow, , its the new economical car (puddle jumper).  Just wondering what kind of set up it has? Like what size speakers, which wire harness does it have(new data, or old style)?  Do i need to make my own dash kit?

If anyone has done one, please let me know your experiences.

Thanks!

No plate or kits are required to mount a new radio. It is an Iso mount (uses bolts into the sides of the radio chassis with factory brackets). The wiring code is usually listed on a sticker right on the radio. No data or anything to worry about. The rear speakers are 4x6" euro version. The fronts are 5&1/4 I think. The trim on either side of the radio is clipped in place and the radio and pocket are held in by 4 screws. They don't get much easier than this.

single DIN deck with a pocket or 2x din?

single DIN is easy but the 2 DIN deck is a little harder to make a kit.

It uses a Daewoo harness for the radio, no data or relocation required,
