I'm looking to get an Infinity Perfect Kapa 12.1 and an amp to match it ... so far i've found these amps:

US Acoustics USX2150 -450Wx1 @4ohms @12.9V-

Profile AP1000 -480Wx1 @4ohms-

Clarion APX401.2 -380Wx1 @4ohms-

Alpine MRV-T420  -340Wx1 @4ohms-

I've heard great things for US Acoustics, Clarion and Alpine ... but I've never hear of Profile. Are they any good? I can get that Profile amp now for just over $100.

I guess what i'm looking for hear is a good SQ anp for a good SQ sub.

Anyone know if any of those ratings are the MAX (if lightning strikes i believe someone said).  ratings? I tried to find the RMS @ 12-13 volts but sometimes that's hard.

Profile is crap.  Don't waste your money.  The Alpine is probably the best amp in your list followed by the US Acoustics.  If you want SQ, go for the Alpine.
