I just got my subs and box today but the subs didnt come installed into the box enclosure. They didnt come with any wires and i wanted to know what wiring i needed to hook the subs into the box.

some 12 gauge speaker wire is all you should need

Actually you can do with 16 gage for almost all installations. ------------- Support the12volt.com

let me show you picture of the back of the sub and then the inside of the box and tell me exactly what i need to do to hook it up

how do i hook the wiring from the sub to the side of the box enclosure?

solder them on both sides, at the driver and at the terminal connector... DYohn is right 16 gauge will probably suffice...i make it a personal rule to use 12 gauge for all my sub applications and 16 gauge for my satellites.... but 16 gauge will probably be fine

kgerry can probably solder to the speaker with no problems, but I wouldn't recommend you try that. The glue on the speaker could get soft. Crimp a female disconnect onto the speaker wire, then push it onto the speaker terminal. You can do the same at the box terminal. If you have a good crimper, you'll get a good connection. If you are trying to make do with pliers, I suggest you run out and get a crimper. See this for pictures. ------------- Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

with all of those suggestions it great, but he may have push connectors or screw connectors on his subs. i would solder to the terminal in the box.
