I have a MTX PRO 75X2 "Blue Thunder". I had a problem in the past where something in the trunk fell on the preouts going into the amp (on the side of the amp" well, the amp would have all kinds of LOUD feed back coming from the bass speakers. I took the amp to a shop and the guy replaced the preouts on the circuit board.
Well, I think this has happened again. Its doing the same thing but, I can wiggle the RCA wire going into the preouts and the LOUD noisy will stop and start back up. (kinda like a short I guess). I took the back off the amp and the preouts didnt seam loose but, I didnt remove the circuit board and see if the solder had come loose. Could this be my problem again. Should I just beable to solder the connection again.
Thanks for any help.
Aaron

Did you try a new set of rca jacks. It sounds like that might be your problem.

I used the other set from my smaller speakers and they still did it.
