MB Quart in a nice small sealed box  built to the needs of the system with the right amp to power them. Personally I would choose an Eclipse Aluminum over any of these any day of the week.

Why? Are Eclipse SQ subs?

Yes, Eclipse is highly regarded for SQ subwoofers. This said again though, it is all about the proper matching together of any equipment that will guarantee the results that you seek. Eclipse does not build their equipment to hit a price point, they build for performance and SQ and they will not dissappoint you.

www.eclipse-web.com or www.eclipse-web.com.au is a nicer site with the same basic info. Look at the SW8122 series of subs to get a start on SQ.

What would I get to match in SQ for 6.5comp set and 6x9's?

I was looking at CDT euros for the comp set and ? for the 6x9"s.  Other forums rave about CDT.

If yer looking for SQ, forget about the Kickers, they are pure SPL subs.  For SQ, also check out JL Audio, Alpine Type R, and Infinity Perfects.

Forget a forum rave and always go with experience and sound advice. You hear differently than I or anyone alse does and you also need to choose speakers for the vehicle and how they are going to fit. Listen to the speakers and choose the ones that your ears prefer with your type of music.

This forum unlike the others has many more industry professionals that respond on it rather than keyboard commandoes who go with the hot item of the month. Some people count posts as experience, thus some on other sites who may have little background but way more posts may be viewed as a professional. This is not the case. If you view this site and in particular this forum, it takes very little searching to see how many industry professionals respond here and interestingly how many of us are from Canada eh!

Are you talking about the NEW Rockford Punch and Power series? I have the old punch series, specifically 2 12" Punch HX2's, and as much as I love them, they aren't SQ subs, and although I do get some decent SQ out of them with my enclosures, it probably won't get any better. I heard the new punch line (bottom model) with 150 watts to each sub, and I was impressed with the bass output, sounded like the SQ improved. If that was any sign for the higher models, then they should sound better than the old line, but I still wouldn't label it as an SQ competitor.

Outta what you listed I would do the Quarts but like forbidden said the eclipse are a better choice over all. I have changed my opinion on the eclipse since I started posting here. I still havent heard a good spl system using them but I heard a solid sq system a couple weeks ago in a golf and was super impressed. He was running a set of polykevlar 6 4 tweet focals and a single eclipse titanium running off some huge pheniox power and it sounded amazing.
