OK, i've popped off the stereo surround containing the air controls and what not, but how do i get it off completely? there seems to be a couple wires connected to it for the air controls or something like that. the surround only comes out like an inch. If any of you knows the entire removal procedure or even parts of it, can you clue me in? thanks........bgweiser

Tools $5 bucks, get it done professionally will save you a lot of headach. ------------- Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.

You can buy some din-tools for 5 dollars or less (just a little bit less then the removal of your radio would cost at either of those places ). Click here

Sometimes you can use thick coat hanger wire.

ok. i think i might try the coat hanger trick only because im too lazy to go find some tools. but first, how do i get the stereo surround completely off? there are wires connected to it. also, how much do think it would cost to get the thing removed and i guess while they're at, go ahead and hook the rca's for my amp and put it back together. or i guess just hook it all completely? do you guys have some estimates on those procedures? i had a stereo installed years back but it came free with the purchase. oh yeah, how do i go about using these din tools or coat hanger to remove it? thanks
