Hey,
I am helping a friend with an install. He has two Jensen XS1212 subs and two amps. I was needing to know which amp would be better to power these subs. I know that they aren't the best brands,but he is just wanting to do something with what he has. The Amps are.. Crunch Drive DS4002 and a Legacy LA 2080. What would be the pro's and con's of using each of them?

Crunch amps are probably better than Legacy, but neither will deliver anywhere near the kind of power they advertise. But hey, you're running Jensen subs, so it's a decent match. Just be VERY careful with setting up the gain and turn off any bass-boost the amp might have it should be fine. Don't expect anything amazing from that setup, though.

Alright, I'll hook that Crunch up. He isn't expected anything amazing just something that he can live with until he gets something better.
