ok looking to upgrade speakers again.

i have narrowed my choices down to this:

front doors: cdt-62 or 62z's,or mb-pce216's,or the hex s600s    to be run off memphis 4 channel amp

right now have mb-dkd113's in back door and was thinking about leaving them in

2-eclipse sw8112 in a custom 1.25cft sealed  off a memphis 1000d

hu-pioneer p-840mp

looking fo best sq with enough clean bass to fill the cab

questions: will i need to run any mid bass speakers, also the amp is 1000watts at 1 ohm, would i get better sound by adding another amp and runnig both at 1000 or dropping them down to 2 ohm at about 600 watts each.and which way to fire the subs ie: foward, up, or facing the back of cab

'any advice or opionons

;

Looks like it will be a nice system.  Except for the head unit, but that's just my personal bias (I really don;t like the sound of anything from Pioneer.)  Also, I'd run subs at no less than 2-ohms on the amp if you want SQ

so with those subs in mind do you think i'm better off with another like amp or up grading to the st1500 pushing about 750 to each sub

SW8112's are rated at 500 watts each, although they can sometimes handle more.  I wouldn't recomend going over 500 watts RMS to each sub, though.  The Memphis running at 2-ohms (two SVC 4-ohm speakers in parallel) will push them nicely, IMO, since Memphis amps are generally under-rated.

You really need to listen to those speakers.  I haven't heard the CDTs but have heard the Mb Quart PCE and Diamond Hex series.  Your highs will sound different and slightly brighter with the Quart's because of the metal tweeter (opposed to the silk tweeter on the 600s Hex).  Some people like this, others don't.  Silk tweeters are generally smoother, but their sound tends to change (dull) over time because of the harsh environment of the car.  Similar material and construction differences exist between the midranges - creating different sounding speakers.  They both sound good, but different.  It is best if you decide which one you prefer first hand.

I picked the Quart's over the Diamond series because I enjoy very crisp highs and detailed vocal ranges.  I primarily listen to jazz and classical and thought Quart was stronger in these two areas.

Hope this helps some.
