I am looking at CD changers for my stereo and I see all of these changers that say compatible with just their brand decks. I was wondering if this was true, or if you could put them on any deck. I have a clarion headunit with Cenet CD changer input, and I am looking at Alpine changers with AInet output, is it the same thing? I would really like to have changer control from my deck.

Alpine w/ Alpine.... Clarion w/ Clarion.... that use very different data protocols
