OK. i am trying to run my RCA cables from the back of the head unit behind the dash and come out of the bottom of the dash on the passenger side of my 1998 expedition. So i can put the wires under the carpet to the back where the amp is. If anyone could tell me how to get the wires behind the dash, because i have tried about 100 times, i would be very happy. Thankyou!

Is there a center console to the Expedition.  A friend of mines has a 98 but I can't remember what it looks like. I have a 98 Ford Windstar though. I normally pull the carpet up from under the dash area or detach it from under the center console, connect the rca's to the radio and fish it through any opening I can find.  Use a flashlight and shine it up through the bottom of the dash.  It you see light there is an opening.  Reach your hand carefully up and have the cable going down until you feel it.  Also you can check where your antenna wire is going.  That should be going to the passenger side of the car. You can run your rca that way .
