I currently have a pair of cheap Bazooka components in my front doors. The problem with them is that i don't like the sharp highs it gives off, especially with "S" sounds. I'm looking for milder, higher quality components that would be a good fit and won't get drowned out by a pair of Eclipse 12's SW8122s. I will be running the speakers on an Eclipse EA3422 with Eclipse 6x9's in the back. Does Eclipse make good components? (as you might have guested i like Eclipse)

Any imput would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.

Eclipse would be a great step up from Bazooka.  Take a look at the Diamond Hex series w/ the silk tweeters or the higher end Memphis line that also has silk tweeters.  I generally find silk tweeters less bright and more soft than tweeters made of other materials.  Sounds like you've got the makings of a great system, what is your head unit?
