I Have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LT.  I have installed replacement speakers, sub and all are hooked up with amps.  The vehicle has Factory XM addition.  And a factory HU.  My problem is I've lost the headphone feature for the backseat and someone told me to find the factory amp and splice into the speaker wires there, not behind the HU.  Where is the factory amp?  I looked under the center console, not there. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Chris

The amp is either in the driver's or passenger's rear quater behind the trim panels under the rear side windows. It depends on whether or not the truck is an extended version or not. I think that the ext. version has the amp on the driver's side.
