on your opinion .. Whar are the Top Five Brands of 1. Subs 2. Amplifiers 3. Components and plz do not mention any sonys, kenwoods or pioneers :P

IMO, the top three car audio brands for anything are, in no particular order: Nakamichi, Eclipse by Fujitsu Ten, and McIntosh. There are at least 20 brand names in the next tier that are all very similar. ------------- Support the12volt.com

SUBS COMPONENTS AMPS. Eclipse Focal Alpine Adire Audio Adire Audio Zapco Resonant Engeneering Diamond Audio Eclipse Diamond Audio CDT audio ......?? Jl Audio Mb Quart .........???? These are the top five brands in no particular order in my opinion ------------- everything stolen :(

Comps? Adire, Jl, Dynaudio, Focal, Cadence
Amps? MacIntosh, Zapco, Cadence, Sinfoni, Tru
All in no particular order. I added Cadence to both lines due to their cost/performance ratio. While their subs really suck (except for the Beast Master for SPL), I have never been so impressed by a line with such low prices. I run at least 1 Cadence item in each of my 3 vehicles.

Adire Audio. I had a brahma 15, untill someone swiped it. I loved it, but you guys really think they are up there with Eclipse in SQ?

Eclipse are not all that IMHO. The Ti was a standard driver, and it sounded like one. It never deserved to be ranked amoung the supersubs IMHO.
Brahma, RE XXX, Aura, JLW7s, IDMax, JBL GTi and a very select, very, very, very short list belongs in that elite group.

The best brand is the one chosen to do the job properly, could be any one of any number of brands. Every task is different and everyone hears different and we all for the most part drive different vehicles.
