I bought 2 new 2004 Kicker Solo-Baric's 4ohm 10 inch L7's they are going into a ported enclosure. What amp should I get, and how much power should it put out? I do not go crazy with volume. I just want a amp that I would be happy with.

well since you have kicker subs matching equipment is never a bad idea as when the products are tested and rated it was with amps of same brand. other good amps are (my favorite) rockford fosgate, mtx, alpine, kenwood. when you go to pick out a amp you should buy a amp that pushes a little less power than your subs can handle. a good way to match a amp and sub power wise is a 75% power rating. so say your sub is 100 watts rms (rms is your true power handling of your products) you should get a 75 watt amp. if your sub is 600 watts rms you should get something from the 400 to 500 range.
another good thing to know is your wire gauge any amp that is 0-500 watts should get a 8 gauge wiring kit 500-1000 watts should get a 4 gauge wiring kit. hope this helps
