I am nearing the time to get some sound deadening material to complete my system and I have been looking at fatmat. But I think it was here that I heard that someone did not recieve their shipment. I am wondering if anyone has recently had that problem. Thanks.

i would just buy the damping material at a stereo shop the price is going to be the same or less after you pay for shiping online but instead you have it instantly. dynamat is great quality also.

FAT-MAT IS DRASTICALLY CHEAPER THEN DYNA-MAT...ALTHOUGH THERE HAVE BEEN SOME COMPLAINTS ABOUT THERE PROMPT SHIPPING HABITS...JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE A CREDIT CARD W/ THE ABILITY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK...I ORDERED 46 SQ. FEET CAME IN 7 DAYS...THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE THOUGH...IF CONCERNED GO W/ BROWN-BREAD

Check out Dynamat Xtreme bulk packs on ebay.  You can get 36ft^2 for about the same price as brown bread.  Brown bread has been having supply issues lately too.

I just used Xtreme for the first time today and LOVED it.  It is WAY better than working with that mcmasters sh*t.  I'd gladly pay more to get a product that is so easy to apply and more effective.  It was going so fast I doubl layered both the inner and outer skin of the door.  I stopped with one door and went out to dinner.  I was amazed.  It sounded like there was little to no road noise coming from that one door.

I'm using RaamMat and it's comparable to the dynamat extreme that I have in my trunk, but it's pretty inexpensive. Check out www.RaamAudio.com or find it on ebay.

hrm, maybe I am just being stupid or something, but where do you "buy" the stuff on that site? i can't find a buy link of any kind

or is there another place that sells the stuff? thanks (it looks pretty good, twice as much as brown bread for the same price)

yeah, and I realized brown bread is sold out of all their stuff for another week or so at least, so this might work out better...
