i want to set gains correctly can anyone tell me the voltage output for ford 2004 audiophile stock radio is it 4v,2v, 0r less

There is an easier way to set your gain. Turn your radio up to the highest volume you would ever dream of listening to it at, or until there is any speaker distortion, then turn it down till it goes away. Thats your new max volume, remember that.

Then turn the gain up on the amp until you hear any distortion or the sound starts degrading. Turn it back down until it sounds good again and you are set. I am betting the audiophile system is probably 2v so your gain will probably end up somewhere in the middle.
