i have had a second battery installed in my trunk for over a year, but recently my voltage started to drop.  it always used to be 14+ volts, but now it barely charges to 11.75 volts. i have replaced my alternator, in hopes that it would fix my problem, but it hasn't.  any suggestions to fixing my problem.

thanks

Your batteries maximum charge voltage can drop due to being deep cycled one to many times.  Or one of the cells in your battery may have just gone bad.  I'd check the batteries.

...or a possibility of corrosion build-up at the power and ground terminals, and at chassis ground location.
