I got a 1990 mustang lx convertible. I went to install a CD deck to replace the old factory radio and I used the correct quick connects to connect the new deck into the OEM factory wiring but when you go to use the unit nothing comes out of the speakers. The unit works fine power wise but no sound! Can anyone help me out or does anyone know what’s wrong

Unit= kenwood kdc-119

Car= 90 mustang lx

Check and make sure all your connections are correct.  Make sure  you matched up the correct dolor codes on the wires.  Make sure all connections are tight.

Did you connect the blue wire to turn on the factory amp?  Also check to make sure your mustang isn't common ground.  If it is, you will have to run new speaker wire to each speaker.

Do it right the first time
