If you buy a pioneer headunit off the internet and it needs work, how does the warranty work?

Always check info with a digital multimeter.
I promise to be good.

Well, I bought a Pioneer Premier, out of ebay, like a year ago, and SOmething happen to the radio, and pioneer says that the warranty will lnot cover if you did not got the item from an authorized dealer, I told them I bought in local dealer (which was not true), but i lost the invoice, And i told then last time they send me a letter so they can repair the radio> If you are lucky like me, i got the warranty for the cd, Not the first time, like the fourth time, they already know me lol///
but Spend a little be more and buy from an authorized dealer>>>.
