Hello,

This unit has a nifty feature that (when hooked up) will automatically dim when the headlights are turned on.

I have a 1994 mustang gt, and was wondering if anyone here has ever done this install before, or has some suggestions?

I have the deck wired and working properly, I just would like to use this feature as well.

Not sure if this works with all Pioneer head units, but for my Pioneer deck you have to turn on the Dimming feature. I had to turn the head unit off, hold the "audio" button down to get to the options menu, and search for the Dimming option, then turn the option on.

It's the ORANGE / WHITE wire on the Pioneer harness that you are wanting to hook up to your dimmer wire on the OEM harness.

I know that's the wire, but I was wondering if any body knew where in the car I can find that particular wire to splice into.
