Hey guys I have a truck as stated in my topic.  I have built a custom box with 2 JL 12w3's in it powered  by a rockford fosgate punch 1000.  I have focal polyglass series 6 1/2 mid and 1" tweeters in the front with some Ok alpine speakers in the rear as fillers.  I am running the doors off a zapco reference 360.  The head unit I am using is an Alpine CVA-1005.  Now I have got it tuned pretty well to my liking but, I was wondering if the audio processor was worth the money the guys where I buy all my stuff said I could have one for 650 canadian taxes in is that a good deal?  Is it worth the money?  I also have another question to anyone who has done an install on this truck can you fit the amps behind the rear bench seat on an extended cab?  I have em both under the driver and passenger seats with my deck processor in the middle.  Ps2 in front console and changer under rear.

Anytime you add an EQ to a system you will gain in the end. The $ 650.00 price tag will depend on what EQ they are trying to sell you. Is is an analog or a digital processor ? Does it have 31 bands of equalization ? As for the amps you can definitely mount in the rear portion. I am going to be installing 2 12 " MTX subs along with 2 amplifiers in a Dodge Ram regular cab sport this week and have all the measurements and it will be tight....but it will work. posted_image

Thanks jeff I know they would fit into a regular cab but mine is extended and I think the rear bench maybe to tight for proper cooling?  I have a regular cab with 2 10's I did and there was plenty of "tight" room for it.  The eq that I was quoted on is the actual alpine add on EQ meant to be added to the CVA-1005.  That way the eq can actully be controlled by the deck like it was built right in.

Regards,

Jamie
