I bought a subzone Enclosure, I am putting 2 S10L7's into it.The screws they say to use, to mount the speakers to the box, are #8 1 inch wood screws. They seem to short to me to hold that much weight. The speakers are 19 pounds each, does this sound correct? Or should I use longer screws?

How thick is the front baffle?  The screws only have to be long enough to properly grab into this.  I also recomend you seal the speakers into the openings using silicone rubber or caulk before you screw them down, and use a screw in every mounting hole the manufacturer put in the speaker frame.

it doesn't take 4 inch long screws to hold a sub, those should be fine (remember you don't want to pierce the baffle or you'll get air leaks)

I would use bolts with the proper anchor nuts on the backside, the ones with the real sharp points that dig into the wood when they are cinched down. Predrill the holes for the bolts and away you go.
