what size fuses go in a amp? it's 400w optimus

But seriously,

check out their website for info or a detailed picture of your same model, or you may be able to see the fuse in a picture on ebay if you can find a listing for your same model. Otherwise, post all of the info that you have on it (is 400W the claimed peak power or is it RMS, how many channels, model #, etc.) and some of the other guys on the forum should give you a pretty good idea of what to put in there.

for that amp probably about 30 amps as i'm sure it's far from the true 400 watts it claims.....

optimus amps are out of production (I think) they were built by various companies for radio shack, and most used a 30 amp fuse

I would start at 20 amps to be on the safe side, if it blows when you crank it, go up to 25, then 30 if it blows again.  But i doub't it will blow on 20amps.
