i was just listen to my xm on my deh 8500mp and all the sudden speakers started sounding funny. my stereo speakers sound blwn and i know there not. what can it be. can someone please helpm out.

Both sound blown? If all the speakers are making that sound I'm guessing you fried something in the head units internal amp. Do you have some sort of bass boost or anything like that on?

dang i hope it is not that. ya it has loudness settings but i didnt know that i shouldnt have on like that. i just installed the sub and i started turning things down.
