Hey guys just another question i got for you.. recently i just changed my stock speakers to some sh*t brand thought it would be better but was sooo soo wrong. besides the quality the volume was just horrible. My question is with my stock speakers i got alot louder volume and sound from them but when i installed the aftermarket speakers it wasn't half as loud. why? are some speakers louder then others? i used to hear the volume pretty good on voume 18 and now volume i get the same volume at 38-40? are there some speakers the produce more sound louder sound? anything?

Wal-Mart speakers aren't loud?

Your stock speakers are more efficient. It took more power to achieve the same volume level with the new speakers. Your head unit could not provide this power. It probably clipped when you tried turning it up. You heard clipping and distortion from the head unit. You need an amp to power those new speakers.

Alternatively, you could just go back to your stock speakers and cut your losses if you were fairly happy with how they sounded. Put some bass blockers on them and you'll probably be able to turn them slightly louder before they break up.

The reason why i changed from stock is because i blew them and they had no bass what so ever. so my stock speakers are blown so i can'tt go back to them. I was just wondering if i could get speakers that would make the 22rms watts on have from my head unit 22 true watts

If you replaced your speakers with aftermarkets the reason they may sound weaker is as Dyohn stated. Also, some factory speakers are not 4ohm speakers. In some cases the speakers maybe below 4ohm such as 3 or 2 ohm.
