Is it ok to fuse my 4 gauge power wire for the amp, At the battery "and" also another place. Because I bought a amp install kit and needed to have more lenght to get it back into the trunk, and I am using a in line fuse to splice the 2, 4 gauge pieces so it will be long enough.

It's perfectly fine to use a second fuse on the wire. It's not necessary by no means, but will offer more protection and a better connection where the two wires will splice. It would probably be best to use the same size fuse in both places, but then that seems like common sense (to me at least).

Actually, that's a good idea to use the materials you have on hand. As long as the second fuse is in a position somewhere in the car that you can easily get to it in case of a power outage.
