I got two Rockford P110S8 speakers and a Kenwood 2 CH x 150W, 800W amp and want to know if I can bridge the connection.  the wiring guide says to do it like this

but I want to know if I can do it like this

which will sound better? is there a chance I will damage the subs by bridging the connection?

If you have 2 single 8 ohm voice coil subs, then wire them as pic 1 shows and then wire to the bridged terminals on your amp.
