I have the kicker Model KX850.2 on order, does this amp have a subsonic filter? I hear subsonic filter are good if you have a ported box, and I do. is this amp ok to use with a ported box, or do I need to get a subsonic filter?

Hey, That amp does not have a subsonic Filter, and yes its good to use it if you are using a ported box to protect your subs, the subsonic Filter eliminates lower frequencies that we can't hear from being reproduced, saves your amp from wasting a ton of power which makes the amp more efficient and it helps protect your subs (especially in ported enclosures).
