I tried the circuit diagram given on this site, but it works in opposite as i open door first then turn of ignition then the Tape will remain on & when i close dorr it turns off, & when i turn off ignition & door is closed the Tape will turn off...please assist.....

are you talking about a factory RAP circuit or something you've concocted??
