I disagree with kgerry on this topic. You can get some really good speakers and a legacy amp and they won't blow.

OK.... when he said 2000 watt amp i thought he meant a real 2000 watts, not the legacy 200 watt amps they say will do 2000 watts at 97% THD

well thanks for assuming i have a legacy amp lol, no its actually a boss amp, i bought it off a friend and it actually hits pretty hard for a boss amp, its like 2 feet long, and if u bridge each channel to a speaker u can actually get about 700w rms..  now i have a bullsh*t speaker in a tube, its a rockford fosgate, the speakers pretty good its a 1000w rms dual coil woofer,  cant i get the most power out of it by bridging 2 channels for each coil to run the single woofer?

CAN SOME1 tell me the best way to wire it to get the most power that the amp can safely handle, because i the sub is definitely strong enough to take the amp at full power.

IF SOME1 COULD MAKE A DIAGRAM THAT'd BE WONDERFUL!!!!!

sorry.... i'm confused ( it happens ).... wasnt the question you posted whether or not you could safely use this " 2000 watt" amp for your satellite speakers?

are you still wanting to know this or has the question now morphed into whether or not you can use it for your DVC sub?   we'll assume that this Boss amp is  mono stable at a 4 ohm load... what is the impedence of the sub per VC?

2000watts of raw power compacted all into 2 feet of amp hahahaahha   thats some revolutionary technology, , only if those tiny little brands like alpine, eclipse, jl and such could keep up.

Darn, , better go get me one of those bad actors.

some people think you actually pay over three times the price for the name (Alpine, Eclipse, etc.)   That would be legal robery and us real audiophiles would have stood up for ourselves by now.   The terrible truth is that it's actually WORTH the three times the price. Who'd a thunk it?

I hate to say this but I think it was funny that in the previous post someone laughed at the fact that it was suggested that his amp was a legacy, after he finished laughing he informed us that it was a boss amp. I hate to say it but those are in the same league man, the boss is just marketed better. I believe the term is same sh*t different pyle. Hope someone catches that.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
