I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma and am installing a system. I have never put a system in a toyota and it looks to be different than any i have previously done. I can not figure out how to get the dash panel off to acces the head unit, and I can not figure out how to remove the door panel (not electric windows or locks) to install different 6.5 inch spkrs..........please help

pull off the knobs for the heater control first. then the fropnt panel of the heater control "pops" off. underneath you will find 2 screws, one on each side. remove them. now the whole trim panel should be able to be removed.

this is how i remove the panel on my 1996 tacoma. they shouldnt have changed THAT much since...
