i put a head unit in my van and i just taped each wire to the power sources and the speakers but my lights the illumate my gages did not come on i was toled i need to hook up a wire but with one ?

forget about it.... if you dont understand this, it's not worth messing with. I have been doing this for a long time professionally and i dont even like dimmer/illumination circuts.... easy to screw up.
