Hey, So I will be building a sub box soon and need advice.

I got an infinity 1230W powered by a MTX 6500D (250RMSx1@4ohm) all to be placed in my trunk.

I preffer bass with puch instead or rumbly, resonating bass.

Which enclosure type would be best?

And can it be a square shape?

Sealed enclosure is what you need. It is very important that you build your box in order to match the recommended volume of the sub, you can find this info in the owner's manual.

You also want your box totaly sealed to avoid air noise and use MDF 5/8 or 3/4 to have best results
