does anyone have experience with kenwood's 13" and 11" excelon subs? im thinking about using one of them in an install with kenwood's mono amp. if they're anything like jl's 13w6 ill be impressed. its either a 13 ,11, or (2) KFC-XW1225dB's 12" dvc. any opinions are appreciated.

OK i hope you are doing a spl setup because i have listened to the 13" sub and its definitely not an SQ sub. You can't even compare its SQ with the JL. I'd stick with using JL instead (their W7 line of course, because it is similarily priced to the kenwood, except it has alot better SQ and can play plenty loud).

thanks, anything about kenwoods 12's? are you saying the w7 has better sq than the w6?
