hey im kinda of confused here after visting jl audio web site. i just bought 4 12 w3d4 subs brand new on ebay and i plan on running all four of them in an 93 k-5 blazer. im gonna wire them together to recieve an 2 0hm load. And im using the jbl 1200. bp1 amp older version. Would that be to much power or just right because i know jl audio understates their rms. Also how much power will each sub be recieving? like 300 apiece or more?

That amp should be perfect for those subs (each sub would recieve 300 watts each continuously, which is the reccomened amount of power for them).
so they wont blow because i blown 2 kicker compvrs but i was running and jbl 1200 watt amp of each set of subs

Any sub can blow if they are abused. Abuse can take many forms, like a sub that is hitting a seat. Running the amp into clipping. Clipping the output of the cd player. Not allowing a sub to cool down. Not saying that this will happen to you, but a sub does not just blow by itself, something must cause it to.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
i just think they blew because the amp was to powerful for the subs but when one blew i just ran them off one amp then another one blew so what should i set the crosser over on the jbl 12000.1 amp to when im running the jl audios? im looking for max spl out of my sealed enclosure and i listen to mostly hip hop and r&b

The crossover setting depends on your main speakers. If they are fairly large (6.5 to 6x9s) then around 80Hz is usally a good choice, but if they are smaller (5.25 to 3.5) then anywhere from 95 to 130 Hz is suitable. You should play some music that has good vocals (preferably a male voice) and set the filter to the frequency that makes your main speakers blend with your sub.
