We have a customer that had an aftermarket stereo installed at a competitors shop that will remain nameless. The original stereo was removed leaving the domelight and keyless inop. The nameless :xshop threw away the oem radio and sold the customer an aftermarket keyless entry and did nothing to remedy the non-functioning domelight.I seem to recall once having directions on how to splice in the domelight ...can anyone help me and this customer out?8D

similar to the newer GM vehicles you used a T harness and relocated the factory radio...maintaining KE and domelight....
why would this customer walk away and let them keep his OEM radio?

Yes I know about the t-harness and relocation...But remember the factory radio is no more...there is a way to get the domelight back I just don't recall it...

If the customer already has a new working keyless entry then all you need to do is get the dome light working again, right? If memory serves me correctly, in the smaller green plug there will be two wires of the same color. I believe they are lt/green and black. All you need to do is jump a wire from one to the other. They are on opposite sides of the plug from each other.
