well first  i look at the wireing chart and the wires listed ARe not in the 97 prelude~

like there are no

Constant 12V+Blue/White 
Switched 12V+Yellow/Red 

coming from the cars harness~

i got all the speakers  and ground wired but that 2@

if i switch em around then the deck wont turn on at all~

but the swithed 12/ soild 12 is weird

i got the deck workin but each time the car turns off the deck looses all presets~

If it loses all your presets, then you connected the 12v constant to a switched 12v. The 12v constant could also be a WHITE/ Yellow...or you just mixed up things, as the other possible color is WHITE/ Blue and not Blue/White.
