ok here is the problem, i have a 90 acura legend with bose sound system. and i have a Xplode deck i am trying to install my deck.

my deck has one ground for the Constat 12+ and for the Ingition+, but comming from my car i have 2 grounds one for each (one for the 12volt constant and one for the 12 volt ingition) and the grounds for each wont ground the othere ( the ground for the ingition won ground teh constant and vice virsa) so im kinda confewsed on what to do... should i put a new ground in or just conect both grounds thank alot !!

uhh, ok, I think u could get away with just hook'n up a single ground. Try that, if it doesn't work then try connecting the two grounds. I dont really see how one ground would be different from the other.

are you sure there are 2 grounds? perhaps one is teh illuminiation wire which you wouldnt need, if for some reasone they are both ground just use one.

ok the costant 12v+ and there is a constant 12V-(ground) and the Ingitions 12V+ and there is a 12v-(ground) each ground will only ground one ie the 12v ingition ground wont ground the 12+ constant.

One thing you might want to check on also is the impeadance of the speakers in the car. A lot of BOSE systems use 2 ohm speakers. If they are 2 ohm speakers you are going to want to bypass the amplifier.

i took all the bose sh*t out and put infinityes in, the amps in my legend were built on to the speakers so i dont have to rewire

were not try'n to f**k ur car up but I'm finding it kinda weird that they have this magical ground that can tell which power source to ground and which not to. I've never heard of such a thing and didn't think anything like that existed. Anyway, if there are 2 grounds then purhapse the 12+ constant was independant of the 12+ switched, thus the need for the second ground. I could see a manufacture doing this as it would be a way to separate componets from each other or something like that. Anyway, try this, and I really doubt anythings gona screw up, hook one of the grounds up and tape off the other. See what happens. If it dont work, try the other. If it still doesnt work then I dont know what to tell you besides what ur topic says which is "WTF???", anyway, good luck and I hope it works.

weird. We'll ur next option would be to find urself a ground and try that. I'm pretty sure that it wont harm anything as I've done it myself before.

when in doubt of a wire being ground or otherwise, the best advice is to leave it alone altogether. since you have installed aftermarket amps and speakers already, then wiring up the head unit should be quick and simple. just use the car's metal chasis as ground instead and you'll also have the added benefit of lower chance of alternator whine or turn-on pops. good luck!

just take this car to a qualified installer. All this time you've been sitting here making hesitation marks, you could have had the deck in there by now. I understand that people like to help on this board but come on. Theres only ONE ground in a legend, or anything honda based for that matter. If you don't know, don't install it.

If you plan on saving money then do what defective is suggesting.
If your at a dead stop and nothing seems to work. You must have destroyed something else. Save your self even more money and time. Pay the certified installer and watch him do it learn from there.
Not trying to mess you up but your messing your self up.

Hope this helps!

Were working on a 93 legend did not come across your situation.
Not sure unless we take a look.
