I am adding subs to my 300m "99". I will tap into the rear speakers for amp preouts, but I need to have a remote turn on for the amp......Which wire on the factory amp is the remote turn on wire?   Or which one is it on the head unit?

Simply find any circuit in your car that switches on with the key and use that.  A voltmeter at the fuse panel and an assistant to turn the key is all you need...

Yeah I figured that, But the factory amp is already in the trunk (Meaning less wire to run) if I could find which wire is the remote turn on.......Or I would like to at least keep it in the stereo compartment.....Thanks for any and all help!!!

why not just climb into the trunk with a DMM and meter the plug?  have someone up front turn the HU on & off and look for the wire with 12v radio on & 0v radio off........

Get an amp that can turn on by detecting a high level input signal.  The JBL600.1 does, I got one.

They may have used the same color for the amp as the antena.  Try the white wire.  If not, you can always use a voltmeter.  Here is another method you can try.  With your wires ran disconnect the factory amp and push the amps remote on wire into each of the connectors hole until the amp comes on.  Since the amp uses very little current to turn on this should work but is very time consuming.
