I am in the market for a new amp and was wondering are there any other amps in these price ranges and are similar? I am planing to buy my subs later so d2 or d4 does not matter yet. I was considering (2) 12 Type R's OR (2) 12 Orion P series

Directed 1100D and MTX 801D

Yes, there are a lot in that price and power range. Try JBL, Xtant, Memphis, Alpine, Diamond, etc

Directed 1100d
MTX 801d
Hifonics Brutus bx1000d

I have a hi fonics zeus, and I really like it, but any of those amps will be fine
