If the back window is installed properly your not gonna blow it. You may wanna go to a shop and get it resealed if it really concerens you

And maybe add some clear poly to it to help keep it together. The same kind of stuff that Robberstoppers use.

i have shattered windows, and it is really based on SPL.i blew my front window out of a dodge d-50 with 2 kicker comp 12" subs and a 400 w amp by sherwood.also like Ravendart said get it re-sealed.but the glasses in older model cars are thicker than todays cars are.and even have the clear rubber looking stuff in the middle and it ands strength.good luck with the system, this is all i know.

also you might want to add some dynamat to the trunk and deck, just to help keeping things from vibrating loose.

Your saying that you shattered the front window on a d-50 with two comps and 400 watts. That doesnt add up man. I have ran alot bigger systems in similar trucks that I am sure was hitting higher db's and never broke a window because of SPL. What DB did you hit.

In order to break a window you have to hit over 155 DBs or so. But if this is original glass, it may not be as sturdy as it is on newer cars becasue of its age. If you do blow it plexiglass will do just fine for a repalcement, bulletproof glass is not neccisary, inless you live in compton or something, lol.
