I have decided that I am going to go with PG for my next amp. I have a MB Quart PWE 252, 10 inch DVC subwoofer in the back. The sub is a 2 ohm + 2 ohm coil.
My two choices are either the Xenon 600.1 or the Xenon 400.1. The problem is that the subwoofer is only rated to 400 watts (i think) so I don't want to overdrive it. Im not sure if the 600.1 will be too powerfull for the sub, even if I keep it turned down.
The other option is to go with the older Titaniun Series amps. Either the 400.2 or the 600.2 running bridged.
What do you guys think?

PG 600.2Ti, Alpine 35x4
Optima Yellow
I would go with the 400.1
I see no reason to spend $200 for more wattage than you'll need.

i agree with kfr01... the 400.1 is a nicer amp and more worth the money.

The new Xenon amps are not nearly as clean as the Titanium series. Xenon is one step above the Octane Rs, but they are not in teh same league as the older amps. If I had a choice between the new Xenon or the older Titanium, I'd go Titanium (or Tantrum.) Just my 2 cents.

shoot, I'm with DYohn on this. Titanium's are the shizle and if u can get a Tantrum.... WOHOO! I guess it really depends on what kind of sound ur look'n to get from this sub when deciding wether the Xenon or the Titanium is right for you.
