i just reinstalled my alpine system in my new truck and i hooked the cva 1003 to the xm tuner and the 6disc changer. now when i go to select them they show up on the screen and the cd plays but i get no audio. can the ainet cable be backwards.do they only go one way. whats goin on with this thing

those ai-net cables can only be connected one way. do you not get audio with radio too? do you get audio at all on any source? what type of vehicle? are there amps involved?

everything else works fine. its just when using the ainnet system. i think i have the cable from the HU to the xm right but i think the cable from the xm to the changer it backwards. if i swich it around should this do the tick i hope?

figured it out. had the ins and outs wrong with th ainet cables

I am having the same problem but before I tear the dash apart, which end goes to the radio? Straight end or 90 end..

I have 3 amps on my Alpine the 90deg plug end is going to the back of the radio, every other source has sound. The xm shows the station, the name of the artist but no sound. I hooked the cable up as I have done every other alpine I have owned... please help
