I am in the process of building a sealed enclosure for 4 12" subs. I have planned on firing two strait back and the other two up. I'm afraid the two firing up toward the rear deck are going to create a lot of noise from the car. I was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions. should I build a baffle above the top two and fire them into the cab? Please help with your opinions.

I usually suggest firing all 4 in the same or near the same direction. Reson for this is if 2 are firing forward and 2 rear, they can actually cancel eachothers sound waves out and make ur system sound like monkey ass.

Although I have never heard the sound coming from the ass of a monkey, I can assume it isn't very pleasant.  posted_image  And I agree that your setup might sound just as unpleasant for the reasons given above.
